Il Poggio Bestiale is an intense and structured red wine from Maremma, born from a Bordeaux blend of international grape varieties and aged in new barrels for at least 14 months. It has rich and complex aromas of cherries, spices, black pepper, and balsamic herbs. The taste is round, enveloping, and very elegant

The red wine Poggio Bestiale Fattoria di Magliano comes from a Bordeaux blend where the different grape varieties used, thanks to the perfect balance between altitude, soil, and microclimate, find the ideal conditions for perfect growth, resulting in a bottle with a harmonious character and excellent longevity. A typical expression of that Maremma Toscana so dear to Agostino Lenci, the owner of the winery who fell in love in 1996 with that still wild stretch of land nestled between the Tyrrhenian Sea and Argentario, deciding to start his winemaking adventure there. A difficult path but rich in satisfaction, which brings to light products of personality and character, just like Poggio Bestiale.

The red made by Fattoria di Magliano is a blend based on four international red grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, cultivated at about 250 meters above sea level on soils characterized by a rich presence of skeleton. The grapes, which are grown according to biological principles, after harvesting they ferment in steel containers for about 20-25 days, then age for 14-18 months in new Allier oak barriques and are then bottled.

Poggio Bestiale is a red wine made by Fattoria di Magliano, characterized by a deep and intense ruby color. The nose is penetrating and characterful, with an aromatic profile where notes of cherries give way to enveloping spicy and balsamic aromas. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich and smooth, with a sip marked by a good acidic vein and finely worked tannins. A label with a strongly international character, to be enjoyed immediately or kept in the cellar for a few more years, to taste it in a more evolved version: in both cases, it will not disappoint you.
