Aurelj Vaira's 'Controcorrente' is a red wine made from prized local grapes grown with minimal intervention, and is vinified with a percentage of whole bunches to accentuate freshness and aromas. Fruity, with an almost Pinot-like character, the nose expresses red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry, with a floral and spicy touch. The palate is intense, with silky tannins and good freshness. Goes well with ravioli with meat sauce and main courses of beef
