Rosso dei Notri Tua Rita 2024
The Rosso dei Notri by Tua Rita is a wine blended from different grape varieties that grow on the Metalliferous Hills. The red wine on the nose is fruity, floral, and has woody notes. Quite complex on the palate and with well-defined tannins
The Rosso dei Notri is a wine that makes youth its strong point, where an interesting array of aromas opens up to a sip in which the tannin stands out with vigor. It is an IGT Toscana where the indigenous grape Sangiovese interacts masterfully with international grapes, giving rise to a highly artisanal label that introduces us to the great reds produced by the Tua Rita winery. A production reality that has its roots in Suvereto, and which makes organic farming its foundation, in order to keep the soils and the surrounding environment healthy and in harmony.
Tua Rita produces this Rosso dei Notri from a blend where, alongside 50% Sangiovese, we find three international grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. The grapes are cultivated according to organic farming practices, in vineyards characterized by the presence of a clayey subsoil rich in skeleton. The fermentation and aging phases are differentiated depending on the grapes: Sangiovese in fact ferments and ages only in steel, while the other grape varieties ferment and mature in French oak barriques; then we proceed to the final blend and bottling operations.
The Rosso dei Notri produced by the Tua Rita winery presents itself visually with a not too intense ruby red color, with slight purple reflections. The aromas that alternate on the nose evoke notes of berries, enriched by hints of spices and woody aromas. On the palate it is of good body, with a complex sip where the tannins stand out the most, without ever being intrusive. A bottle that finds its gastronomic vocation with game dishes and grilled meat, ideal for accompanying future winter dinners.
