The Rosso Jeune from Chateau Musar is a fresh and fruity wine produced in Lebanon in the Bekaa Valley. It is a label designed for a young audience and for those who love a wine fragrant, smooth, and easy to drink, not too structured and powerful. The winery's choice not to use wood ensures great expressive immediacy and a profile that reflects the varietal characteristics of the grapes. The grapes come from the youngest vineyards of the estate, which give a wine with a crunchy face, with fruity and floral aromas, characterized by a satisfying sip and pleasantness.
The Jeune Chateau Musar Rosso wine is produced by the famous Lebanese Winery, which has been cultivating vineyards in the Bekaa Valley area since the 1930s, an area where viticulture has been present for over 6000 years, since the time when the ancient Phoenician populations inhabited this stretch of the Mediterranean coast. Thanks to precious clay-limestone soils, rich in skeleton, and the cool climate of the altitude, which reaches 1,000 meters above sea level, the French grape varietiesCinsault, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon have adapted very well to the mountainous territory of the Bekaa Valley and produce high-quality grapes, with very elegant aromatic profiles. Fermentations occur spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks. The wine matures on the fine lees, always in cement tanks, for a period of at least 9 months and finishes aging with 12 months in the bottle before being put on sale.
The Chateau Musar Jeune Rosso is a label that is part of the line of wines from the famous Lebanese winery produced without the use of wood aging, to enhance the varietal fragrance of the grapes. The soft fruit of Cinsault, the typical spicy notes of Syrah, and the elegant aromas of berries from Cabernet Sauvignon are exalted in their qualities of finesse and freshness by cultivation at altitude. The color is bright ruby red. The olfactory profile is dominated by crunchy red fruit sensations, small dark berry fruits, floral nuances, and delicately spicy notes. The sip is agile, juicy and lively, with rich fruit, spicy aromas, and good final freshness.
