The "Senza Vandalismi" from the Abbia Nova winery is a juicy red wine that is perfect for pairing with appetizers based on cheeses and cured meats. This label is made with the same-named grapes in purity and spontaneous fermentation using only indigenous yeasts. The color is bright ruby red while the aromas released recall red fruits and aromatic herbs. The sip is agile, harmonious, fresh and balanced.

The “Senzavandalismi” is an authentic and spontaneous red wine produced by Abbia Nova, a winery in Lazio. Cousins Daniele and Pierluca Proietti have been managing the winemaking activity for almost twenty years, but only since 2013 have they started to enter the market, offering a range of their labels. Their products reflect a strong territorial rooting and the vines are a mix of old vineyards and new plantings with minimal human intervention, in order not to interfere with the natural development of the grapes.

The grapes of the “Senzavandalismi” from Abbia Nova grow in vineyards located between 350 and 500 meters above sea level with an age ranging from 16 to 80 years, where intervention is made solely with minimal doses of copper and sulfur. The soil is mainly composed of clay with limestone deposits on the surface and a concentration of sand and silt; for a good soil fertility, the technique of green manuring is used, while the soil is covered with grass and occasionally hoed once a year. The cultivation regime is in organic conversion.with some biodynamic practices. The harvest is conducted manually; it follows a spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a maceration of 8 days. After aging, it is bottled without clarifications or filtrations.

The “Senzavandalismi” Red from Abbia Nova presents itself in the glass as a ruby red with brilliant reflections; on the nose, it releases aromas reminiscent of ripe red fruit and a note of aromatic herbs on the finish. On the palate, it is lively, juicy, balanced with a good freshness on the finish that is noticeable glass after glass. It is recommended to pair with cured meats, stewed white meats, but also first courses based on vegetables. An excellent product recommended for the festive family table or for an evening in the company of lifelong friends to discover in the glass a product that reveals the beauties of the Lazio land.
