Since 2012, Cantine Leonardo Da Vinci has been owned by the Caviro Group, a giant in the wine sector based in Romagna, the territory where the ‘1502 Da Vinci in Romagna’ project was born.

Cantine Leonardo Da Vinci Sauvignon ‘Uve Portate a Cesena’ 1502 Da Vinci in Romagna originates from only Sauvignon Blanc grapes cultivated at a height between 100 and 300 meters above sea level on clayey-silty soils with fine texture, characterized by a cool exposure to the north and northeast. After harvest, usually carried out during the first week of September, the grapes are transferred to the winery where they undergo a delicate pressing. This is followed by the alcoholic fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature of 16 °C in large stainless steel tanks of 100-300 hectoliters, lasting about 10 days. The subsequent aging phase of several months also takes place in steel.
