The Veneto white "Monte Ceriani" is a Soave made by Tenuta Sant'Antonio with an elegant and refined profile, captivating the nose of those who taste it thanks to a whirlwind of enveloping aromas. It is not only the olfactory notes that conquer, but the courtship continues in the mouth, where a fluid and fresh sip appears, in which a good sapidity is felt. Thus, the portrait of a label that can only convince white wine enthusiasts is completed, and which, moreover, presents itself with a final price that deserves more than a reflection.
This "Monte Ceriani" is a Soave that comes from the pure use of Garganega grapes, cultivated by the team of the Sant'Antonio winery within the cru that gives its name to the label. It is indeed a terroir particularly suited for this grape variety, characterized by a clayey-loamy terroir where the presence of silt is noticeable, located about 200 meters above sea level. The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest, are softly pressed, to then fermented in steel, macerating cold. It then continues with the aging, carried out for several months in steel, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.
The Soave "Monte Ceriani" reveals itself to the eye with a straw yellow color, crossed by light reflections that tend towards greenish at the rim. The nose is teeming with varied notes, where it is not difficult to trace citrus touches and floral sensations, also enriched by more herbaceous nuances. On the palate, it is light-bodied, slim and drinkable, with a refreshing sip, characterized by good minerality. A bottle with which the Tenuta di Sant'Antonio honors one of the most representative denominations of the entire Veneto terroir.
