The Ribolla Gialla Sparkling Wine, produced by the Friulian winery Teresa Raiz, is a version of ribolla gialla that particularly enhances the typical notes of freshness and sapidity of this historic native grape variety of the region. Thanks to its particular characteristics, Ribolla Gialla is very suitable for sparkling wine production using the Charmat Method and offers a citrusy, fruity, and floral wine, pleasantly smooth and easy to drink, ideal for tasting at aperitif time, with vegetable or seafood appetizers or with first courses of delicate flavors.

The Ribolla Gialla Sparkling Wine from the Teresa Raiz winery is made from excellent quality grapes, sourced from the estate's plots located in the areas of Prepotto and Rosazzo, which have always been very suitable for the grape variety. The vineyards are cultivated in a hilly area, ensuring beautiful sunny and well-ventilated exposures. The soils are composed of flysch or ponca in Friulano, a sedimentation of marl and sandstones of Eocene origin, stony and rich in minerals. The harvest takes place slightly earlier than the grapes

destined for the production of still wines, to preserve a lively freshness, essential for the sparkling wine bases. The grapes are gently pressed and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks before being transferred to autoclaves for the sparkling process and second fermentation. After a few months, bottling takes place.

The Ribolla Gialla Charmat Sparkling Wine from the Teresa Raiz winery is a bottle with a convivial, young, and easy character, which immediately satisfies the palate with its pleasant expressive immediacy, direct and essential. It presents in the glass a light straw yellow color with bright and shiny greenish reflections. The perlage is of good finesse, continuous and persistent, and brings aromas of orange blossom, acacia flowers, fragrances of lime zest, grapefruit, cedar, aromas of Granny Smith apple, pear, white peach, and hints of herbal notes. The sip is tense and vibrant, characterized by a clear freshness, delicate fruit, and a savory and citrusy finish.
