"Suppriscola" is a red wine from Umbria made from Barbera grapes with great gastronomic power that is appreciated for its drinkability and fragrant fruity aromas. The nose leans towards notes of crunchy red fruit, rustic touches, and wildflowers, while on the palate it is very fresh and juicy, pleasantly rustic.

The "Suppriscola" No Added Sulfites is a beautiful expression of Barbera born from the experimental approach of Francesco Annesanti, owner of the namesake winery. A wine that pays homage to ancient peasant traditions, inspired by principles that refer to biodynamics, aiming to tell the story of the soil and the varietal from which it originates with the due expressiveness. The typical fruit of Barbera is perceived on the nose with great integrity, while on the palate it is struck by a dynamic and exuberant nerve that captivates from the very first sips. A bottle that reveals the strong bond between Francesco and Valnerina.

The wine "Suppriscola" is made from pure Barbera grapes, cultivated by the Annesanti winery in parcels exposed to the southeast. The vines, cultivated using the Guyot system, sink their roots into a terroir characterized by the presence of clay and silt in the subsoil. The fermentation of the must occurs spontaneously in steel at a controlled temperature and without adding sulfites at any stage. The wine matures for several months in stainless steel containers and, at the time of bottling, carried out during the waning moon phase, following ancient local customs, no filtration is performed.

The “Suppriscola” No Added Sulfites by Annesanti is a wine that develops in the glass with a purplish red color. The progression of aromas on the nose begins with a fruity component that presents itself with candor, followed by a combination of notes where floral scents and more earthy nuances stand out. On the palate, it is light-bodied, characterized by a fresh and refreshing sip, endowed with a beautiful liveliness. A rustic label that never disappoints at the table, always playing the role of protagonist, both in informal appetizers and throughout the meal.
