The Brut Trento Sparkling Wine is made by the Altemasi winery using pure grapes from a great international white grape variety, Chardonnay. The vineyards where this variety grows are highly suited and are located in the Valle dei Laghi and around the hills of Trento, at an altitude between 450 and 600 meters above sea level. The grapes, once harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities, undergo a first fermentation, and then referment in the bottle, following the production principles of the Classic Method. The wine remains aged on the lees for a period of 36 months, after which the processes of disgorgement, dosage, and bottling are carried out.
This Trento Brut Spumante develops in the glass with a hue reminiscent of straw yellow, with slight golden reflections at the rim. The perlage is fine, with excellent persistence. The aromas that tell the nose move on crunchy and pleasant notes, chasing floral and fruity sensations, as well as hints of pastry and yeast. On the palate, it is full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with a sleek and dynamic sip, characterized by a beautiful savory and fresh note.
