The Valpolicella Classico by Valmori takes shape on the hills around the capital of Verona, where the Veronese winemaking tradition has its roots. Made with the trio of local red grapes, it sees only steel and, with a limited aging before release, focuses on the smoothness and clarity of the fruit. On the nose, it is fragrant, with small red fruits and a spicy twist. On the palate, it is clear and well-proportioned, lean and smooth to drink, perfect alongside meat dishes or cheese like Monte Veronese.
