This Vermentino di Sardegna “Villa Solais” is made from grapes of a variety that is widely cultivated within the Sardinian borders, the Vermentino. The vines of this variety grow using the counter espalier system, in the vineyards owned by the Santadi winery in lower Sulcis, characterized by a medium sandy and clayey soil terroir. The grapes, harvested between the beginning of September and the first days of October, once they arrive at the facilities designated for winemaking, are pressed gently, fermenting in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Always in steel the wine then remains to mature for a few months, after which bottling operations are carried out.
The Villa Solais Santadi is a Vermentino di Sardegna that reveals itself to the eye with a beautiful straw yellow, slightly tending towards greenish at the rim.
