Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry Chazalettes
Chazalettes's Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry is a spicy wine from a very ancient recipe, made by the Chazalettes family at the beginning of their experience in the liqueur world, in 1876! An iconic Piedmontese product, born in the capital of the region, with aromas of the nearby mountains for a herbaceous sip, aromatic and expressive of the territory, it is sober, elegant but not austere. Hints of citrus peel, juniper, mountain herbs. A soft, fresh and sweet sip, in which the bitterness blends with aromatic sensations of great persistence
The Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry is a specialty made by the historic Piedmontese brand Chazalettes. It is a version of Vermouth with a particularly dry taste, without the typical sweet notes that usually characterize this particular type of spiced wines. Its more essential and decisive face, linear and austere, makes it perfect for enthusiasts who love the pure taste of herbs and spices, accompanied by the pleasant winey and aromatic notes of an excellent Piedmontese Moscato, a true excellence of one of the Italian regions most suited to viticulture.
The Extra Dry Vermouth di Torino is born from a long family tradition, based on an ancient artisanal savoir-faire. The Chazalettes family moved from Chambery to Turin after 1860, following the annexation of the Savoie region to France. After a brief experience at the Martini&Sola company, Clemente Chazalettes decided to go independent and create a company to produce Vermouth, the spiced wine that was in vogue in Turin during the
of the nineteenth century. The liqueur is made with a base of fragrant and intense white Moscato wine, in which a selection of carefully chosen botanicals is infused. Among the main ingredients, we particularly note: wormwood, aromatic herbs from the alpine flora, citrus peels, juniper, and a touch of spices, which contribute to creating a perfect blend. The Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry made by Chazalettes stands out for its clear, fresh, pleasantly dry, and decisive taste. It is intended for the more refined palates, who appreciate the fine aromatic nuances. Of a beautiful straw yellow color, with subtle and bright golden reflections, it expresses intense and rich aromas, of great charm and elegance. In particular, hints of medicinal herbs, mountain herbs, spices, roots, orange peels, white-fleshed fruit, and floral nuances stand out. The entry on the palate is harmonious and fragrant, rich and persistent, with a finish that returns to refreshing notes of balsamic herbs.
