The Wine Box Bianchi from the South Tyrolean winery of San Michele Appiano is a package that contains 6 bottles from the "Fallwind" collection, created specifically to enhance the most important grape varieties cultivated by the estate. The name indicates the falling wind, which, descending from the mountains, sweeps across the hilly area of San Michele Appiano, creating a cool and temperate microclimate, ideal for the cultivation of white grape varieties. The special box consists of 2 bottles of Chardonnay "Fallwind", 2 bottles of Riesling "Fallwind", and 2 bottles of Sauvignon Blanc "Fallwind". A selection of great whites from Alto Adige, characterized by intense aromas, fragrant notes, and clear mineral freshness.
The Wine Box Bianchi "Fallwind" package is a synthesis of the work that the San Michele Appiano winery has been carrying out for years to offer wines of great expressive purity and territorial fidelity. Each variety is cultivated in the most suitable areas for soil composition and microclimate, in order to achieve the maximum result. The Chardonnay vineyards are located in the municipality of Appiano, at an altitude of 420-500 meters above sea level, on gravelly soils of limestone origin, generated by ancient morainic deposits. The Riesling is cultivated near Lake Monticolo, at altitudes between 500 and 700 meters, on morainic gravel soils. Finally, the Sauvignon Blanc vines are situated in Appiano Monte at an altitude ranging from 450 to 650 meters above sea level, on predominantly limestone soils.
The 6 bottles contained in the Wine Box Bianchi from the "Fallwind" line of the San Michele Appiano winery offer the opportunity to appreciate the excellent quality of South Tyrolean wines. Carefully selected grapes, simple and rigorous vinifications, and aging carried out almost exclusively in steel to keep the varietal characteristics of the grapes in the foreground allow for the best appreciation of each grape variety. A perfect package to stock the cellar with a range of excellent wines: from the refined and intense elegance of Chardonnay, to the vertical tension of the Riesling, to the aromatic pleasantness of Sauvignon.
