San Patrignano stays with you. The air you breathe, the deep and intense looks, the lightness of manner that makes everything seem simple and natural, the desire to do one's best with a great, personal satisfaction. The wines of the San Patrignano winery have a strong symbolic value and contribute to self-supporting the Community, which since 1978 has been hosting for free the men and women who knock at their door asking for help. The latter are the protagonists of every bottle because, on a par with winemakers and cellarers, they personally carry out the entire production process. And it is precisely for this reason that San Patrignano wine is not simply a bottle and a passion, but it becomes a tool to bring new young people together, an embrace of many experiences and a now an ethical and social landmark of our country.

San Patrignano began its history in the late 1970s, when Vincenzo Muccioli decided to found the Community in the hills of Rimini. With a small farm, a manually harvested vineyard, a wine press and five wooden barrels, the first production of San Patrignano wines began. In the 1990s, the arrival of Riccardo Cotarella made a qualitative leap in the wine department, which acquired an increasingly high value. Today Luca D'Attoma is the new winemaker entrusted by the community. The vineyards cover about 110 hectares and are home to different grape varieties: Sangiovese above all, followed by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The soils, located between the Adriatic Sea and Mount Titano (San Marino), are of clay matrix with variable presence of limestone and are located 150-200 meters above sea level. They benefit from sea breezes and great exposure to light that allows the clusters to ripen perfectly. Once the best bunches are harvested, they are taken immediately to the winery, where they are destemmed and softly crushed. The flower must ferments in steel and the wine ages in steel tanks, large barrels or barriques.

San Patrignano wines have a modern, contemporary profile. They are elegant, clean and expressive, with a harmonious balance between body and freshness, allowing Mediterranean, spicy and fruity notes to emerge. Unique bottles that deserve to be tasted more than once!
