The "Montepirolo" from San Patrignano is a red wine from Romagna produced from a Bordeaux blend. It is aged for 12 months in barriques, revealing a structured, intense, round, and persistent sip, enriched with juicy notes of berries, marjoram, bell pepper, and licorice.

The ‘Montepirolo’ from San Patrignano is a red wine with a pleasantly international style produced in Romagna, in the Colli di Rimini area, starting from the classic Bordeaux blend. The San Patrignano winery was founded in 1978 based on noble values such as solidarity and mutual support. In fact, the production involves boys and girls in difficulty who come to the facility seeking help, receiving full support from the Community. In recent years, the advice of the skilled oenologist Luca D’Attoma has further increased the quality of the range, based on international grape varieties as well as Sangiovese.

San Patrignano ‘Montepirolo’ comes from a blend of Bordeaux-origin grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, cultivated on the Montepirolo hill in Coriano, following the principles of integrated defense. The harvest is carried out according to the ripening period of each variety, and the grapes are then pressed in stainless steel tanks for fermentationcontrolled temperature alcoholic fermentation, associated with periodic pump-overs and long macerations. The subsequent aging phase of one year takes place in first and second passage oak barriques, followed by an additional year of refinement in the bottle.

The Bordeaux blend ‘Montepirolo’ from the San Patrignano production reality is of an intense ruby red color. On the nose, vivid and engaging aromas of currant, ripe blackberry, bell pepper, licorice, and marjoram are perceived, accompanied by a pleasant spicy texture. Full, round, and structured sip, with good freshness that coexists with pleasant tannins in a harmonious and persistent combination. The recommendation is to enjoy the ‘Montepirolo’ paired with first and second courses based on meat or aged cheeses.
