The Arneis by Damilano is the white expression of one of the most renowned wineries in the Langhe, as well as a daily wine capable of surprising with its finesse and drinkability. Although the name Damilano is known for outstanding interpretations of red wines (especially those linked to some of the best Barolo crus), one cannot help but be pleasantly surprised while drinking this tasty and delicate Arneis, which proves, if there was ever a need, great knowledge of the territory in all its aspects. The vast vineyard area, which today covers about 52 hectares, is the result of a centuries-old work that began in 1890 by Giuseppe Borgogno, great-grandfather of the current owners of the winery, who carry on the family tradition with innovation and energy, seeking a rather modern stylistic imprint, made of smoother and more welcoming wines, highly appreciated even by the American market.

The Damilano Arneis is obtained from pure grapes of the homonymous variety, from vineyards located in the Langhe area that rest on mixed soil, namely limestone-clay-sandy. This expression of immediate and enjoyable white, it still conceals the usual meticulous work undertaken by the winery, made up of careful selection of the grapes and great attention to the ripeness of the grapes. In the winery, soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature continue, followed by aging in steel tanks.

The Arneis Damilano wine presents itself in the glass with a delicate and light straw-yellow hue. The nose, elegant and refined, is entirely expressed through scents that convey freshness, such as golden apple, pear, linden, and other white flowers, outlining a very interesting olfactory profile. The sip is harmonious, perfectly blended in its components, and characterized by fruity returns that make the drinking experience delightful. Masterful balance.
