For the creation of the Bitter Rosso, the canonical customs are followed, which involve an infusion in alcohol from roots, plants, herbs, flowers, and spices. The original recipe of Glep Beverages includes the use of sweet orange, bitter orange, St. John's wort, rhubarb, cassia, gentian, quassia, and a selection of other botanicals, which is part of the distillery's secret. At the end of the extraction process of the aromas in alcohol, the Bitter is diluted with pure water to lower the alcohol content and left dry, so that it can maintain its characteristic bitter taste.
