The Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva 'Freienfeld' from Cantina Kurtatsch is a wine of great character, one of the flagship reds of this historic winery. The label features a 16th-century fresco depicting Pyramus and Thisbe, the tragic love story that unfolded through a crack in the wall, hence the name and image on the bottle. The vineyards are steep and the harvest is necessarily done by hand.
