The Champagne Vintage Brut by Veuve Clicquot is produced only in the best harvest from prestigious cru, with an ageing for almost 6 years on the lees. It has an elegant and rich profile: perfumes of fruits, citrus and pastries invite to a smooth, taught and mineral drink, with toasted hints of dried fruits

The Vintage Brut is one of the flagship Champagnes of the historic maison Veuve Clicquot, born from the excellence of a great vintage and from the most prestigious vineyards of the region. Only grapes from Grand and Premier Cru are used for its production: the Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, Bouzy, Tauxières, Avenay, and Ay; the Chardonnay from Le-Mesnil, Oger, and Vertus; the Pinot Meunier from Ludes and Dizy.

The Vintage wines of Veuve Clicquot have made the history of Champagne: the first was produced in 1810 and inaugurated the concept of vintage, meaning coming from a single harvest. Since then, only just over 60 vintages have been chosen to create the Vintages that, with the arrival of chef de cave Dominque Demarville at the maison, have achieved extraordinary results. The vinifications take place in steel and, for only 5%, in oak barrels. The aging on the lees of almost 6 years in the bottle allows the achievement of its expressive maturity and a beautiful aromatic complexity, played on varietal hints of fruit, flowers, and citrus combined with toasted tones, yeast, and dried fruit.

This Brut Vintage fully embodies the concept of Grand Vin de Champagne, a fusion of elegance, charm, fruit fullness, and aromatic depth. The aromas of citrus, yellow fruit, and small pastries enchant the nose and accompany a sip of beautiful tension and minerality, soft, round, and very long. This is a Champagne endowed with great longevity and characterized by harmony and balance, capable of elegantly and impeccably accompanying refined gastronomic experiences based on fish and white meats.
