"Unisson" is a Champagne Blanc de Blancs based on Chardonnay grapes of the best vintages coming exclusively from the Grand Cru Avize. After about 4 years of aging on the lees, it emanates enveloping and rich notes of cream, vanilla, dried fruit and honey. Creamy, soft, fresh and elegant, it is a perfect companion for chic aperitifs

The “Unisson” from the Franck Bonville winery is a Champagne rich and of great elegance, produced by Olivier Bonville in his parcels, all classified as Grand Cru, in Côte de Blancs, the district in the heart of the Champagne region famous for its exceptional Champagne Blanc de Blancs. The grapes used are exclusively Chardonnay, coming from the best Grand Cru vineyards in the municipalities of Avize, Oger, and Les-Mesnil-sur-Oger. The winery, now in its fourth generation, owns 18 hectares of vineyards in Côte de Blancs and applies environmentally friendly viticulture, paying great attention to the aging and vinification of each cuvée.

The Grand Cru Brut by Franck Bonville is a non-vintage Champagne, whose carefully selected grapes are pressed whole bunch using a vertical press, as per tradition. The must is transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel containers where alcoholic fermentation takes place, leading to the base wine, crucial for the blending of each cuvée. Once the cuvée is decided, it is bottled with the addition of liquer de tirage for the sparkling process and remains in bottle aging on its own yeasts for about 48 months, before being dosed and bottled.

The “Unisson” Bonville presents itself with a bright straw yellow color with golden reflections and a very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it is very fragrant, characterized by a pronounced aromatic richness that recalls hints of ripe yellow fruit, dried fruit, including walnut, dried flowers, notes of vanilla, brioche, lemon cake, and honey. On the palate, it is complex, full, and generous, while remaining very fresh and mineral. The finish is persistent with a pleasant recall of dried fruit and vanilla notes. In short, we are definitely talking about a great Champagne, the result of blending the latest best vintages and the best parcels.
