Chardonnay 'Danabella' Pucciarella 2024

The Chardonnay 'Danabella' by Pucciarella is an elegant white wine from Umbria that interprets this international grape variety with balance and finesse. It is made from grapes grown in marine-origin soils rich in sand, clay, and gravel. Fermentation occurs at low temperature in concrete tanks while aging on the fine lees continues in the same material until the spring following the harvest. On the nose, it expresses notes of exotic fruit and yellow apple accompanied by slight floral nuances. The palate is fresh and persistent, with a good balance between softness and liveliness. It pairs well with a baked perch fillet from Lake Trasimeno with aromatic herbs.
