The Chardonnay by Otronia winery is a white wine that is produced in Patagonia in one of the southernmost vineyards in the world. After a short passage in French oak barrels, it spreads aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit to the nose, such as peach and apricot accompanied by very light herbaceous hints of chamomile

The Chardonnay from Bodega Otronia originates in the southernmost part of Argentina, the area defined as "Patagonia Extrema", named so because it is subject to winds that can reach up to 110 km per hour. These conditions guarantee, however, interesting expressions from the vineyards. The winery's philosophy is to produce wines that fully reflect the characteristics of the territory; the cultivated area is about 50 hectares with international grape varieties such as Merlot, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio that thrive well thanks to the cold climate.

The grapes of Otronia's Chardonnay are grown in climatic conditions characterized by generous rainfall that can reach up to 200 mm per year, ensuring flourishing soils for vine cultivation. The climate is continental, cold with frequent frosts that give brilliance to the color of the grapes and great aromaticity. The soil composition is rocky and gives the wines character and body structure, and in addition, the vineyards are cultivated entirely with organic farming. Once harvested, the clusters are destemmed. The must matures in French oak barriques for a few months before being bottled.

The Chardonnay from Bodega Otronia presents itself in the glass with a bright golden yellow; the aromas recall ripe yellow fruit like apricot and in the finish, mineral notes; on the palate, it reveals body, freshness, and sapidity with a pleasant persistence that invites drinking. It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish, and seafood; excellent also with aged cheeses and vegetarian dishes.

A wine to be enjoyed for formal occasions or family celebrations, discovering in the glass a product born in extreme conditions, but that knows how to give great emotions, showcasing a beautiful and promising land.
