Chianti Classico Pruneto 2021

Pruneto's Chianti Classico is a traditional, territorial Tuscan red wine, the calling card of this winery. Produced mainly from Sangiovese with a small proportion of Canaiolo and Merlot, it comes from vines between 20 and 50 years old located at an altitude of up to 500 metres and is fermented in concrete to preserve the identity of the fruit and the territory. Ageing in large barrels defines a sober and measured style, with an alcoholic structure that is present but never intrusive and a tannic texture that favours the raw material. The nose is clean and sober with ripe cherry, violet and light earthy notes, while the palate is balanced, dry, taut and progressive.
