Distillato di Agave Blu Padre de Los Jaguares

The ‘Padre de Los Jaguares’ is a precious agave distillate produced in the Mexican state of Jalisco by the producing company Padres de la Tierra, specialized in the crafting of traditional spirits according to ancestral practices. Like tequila, the ‘Padre de Los Jaguares’ is made from agave of the Blu Weber variety and shows an elegant yet wild character, just like that of the jaguar, from which the name ‘Padre de Los Jaguares’ is derived. Moreover, the jaguar represents a mythical animal in ancient Aztec culture, symbolizing transformation and power.

Padres de la Tierra ‘Padre de Los Jaguares’ is made from pure agave of the Blu Weber variety, also known as Tequilana Weber, grown on the volcanic highlands of the state of Jalisco in western Mexico. Following the harvest of mature agave, the heart of the plant, locally called piña due to its resemblance to pineapple, is extracted.piña is cooked in special ovens and then ground to extract the rich sugary juice contained within, which then undergoes the alcoholic fermentation process. At this point, the fermented liquid is distilled and finally bottled, without any wood aging.

Visually, the ‘Padre de Los Jaguares’ from Padres de la Tierra appears transparent and crystalline. The nose reveals rich notes of fruit and licorice, combined with pleasant vegetal sensations. On the palate, it is soft, creamy, and elegant, with a delicate sweetness that accompanies the enveloping finish.
