The Friulano "Borgo Tesis" is a fresh and fruity white wine that reflects all the most typical characteristics of the varietal. After a brief aging in steel, it releases a very delicate and fragrant bouquet that intertwines notes of citrus, hints of white flowers, and characteristic sensations of almond. On the palate, it is marked by a vibrant freshness that makes the sip inviting, tantalizing, and easy to drink.

The Friulano “Borgo Tesis” from the Fantinel winery represents the tradition of the Friuli region. Back when it was called Tocai, this grape variety produced the quintessential white wine, the most popular and widespread wine, the convivial glass to share in company. The version of Friulano produced at the Grave estate aims to be faithful to this characteristic of a great everyday wine, young, fresh, and harmonious. It is a white with an elegant profile, featuring floral scents, fruity aromas, and the typical note of fresh almond, which makes the finish distinctive. The vinification in steel preserves its generous varietal personality, providing an easy and smooth sip.

The Friulano wine “Borgo Tesis” is produced at the Grave estate in Friuli. The winery was established in the late 1960s with the purchase of the first vineyards in Collio, and has since grown progressively to the current 300 hectares, divided into various areas of the region. In the Grave area, labels of great drinkability are produced, which express in a straightforward and direct way the varietal profile of the grapes. The soils, composed of alluvial debris from the bed of the Tagliamento, they are characterized by the presence of river pebbles that make the soils draining and very suitable for vine cultivation. It is an area where the Friulano grape gives very interesting, fresh versions that are pleasant to drink. To cater to this vocation of the territory, the vinifications take place in steel, in order to create lean wines with a pronounced varietal character.

The Friulano “Borgo Tesis” Fantinel is a pleasant wine, appreciated for its extraordinary ability to accompany meals. It pairs well with seafood dishes, first courses with vegetables, and is extraordinary to taste with San Daniele raw ham. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and the wine always rests in steel for several months before being released for sale. In the glass, it presents a rather pale straw yellow color. The olfactory profile recalls scents of white flowers, citrus aromas, white fruit, freshly cut hay, and fresh almond. The sip is harmonious, with a juicy and soft fruit, that leadsto a finish of great balance, with a return of delicately almond-like sensations. It is a great wine of the territory, reinterpreted in the sign of elegance and expressive finesse.
