"Ronco delle Cime" is a fresh, soft, and fragrant Friulano with remarkable minerality. The aromas are delicately smoky, with notes of almond and white peach. The sip reveals elegance and excellent balance.

The Friulano "Ronco delle Cime" by Venica & Venica is a perfect expression of one of the most appreciated whites of the region. It is made with the Sauvignonasse grape variety, introduced to the Triveneto lands at the end of the 19th century. Abandoned in its original area of Bordeaux, it found its ideal land along the border with Slovenia, becoming one of its symbols, first known as Tocai and since 2008 as Friulano. The Ronco delle Cime label was created in 1999 to highlight a particularly suited vineyard, which still today offers a wine of notable aromatic intensity and expressive balance. Particularly versatile at the table, it pairs well with vegetable-based first courses, mushroom risotto, seafood dishes, and fresh cheeses. The classic pairing is with San Daniele ham.

"Ronco delle Cime" is a Friulano resulting from the work of one of the most representative wineries in the Collio area. Venica & Venica has always been committed to enhancing the territory, through the historically present grape varieties in this corner of Friuli at the border with Slovenia. Ronco delle Cime represents one of the most important crus of the estate. The vines were planted in 1974 in the highest area of the property at about 200 meters above sea level, with a northwest orientation facing the peaks of Monte Nero and Canin. The cold air currents descending from the mountains keep the grapes always dry and ensure significant temperature variations between sunny days and nighttime temperatures. The soils are composed of the classic ponca of the Dolegna del Collio area, characterized by marine sedimentations of calcareous marls and sandstones rich in mineral substances. Harvesting is done manually, followed by cold maceration for about 24 hours under oxygen protection and gentle pressing. The must ferments partly in steel tanks and partly in large barrels. Before bottling, the wine is aged in steel and wood, with a stay on the lees for about 6 months.

The white Friulano "Ronco delle Cime", from the Friulian winery Venica & Venica, is a label with a classic character, which well represents the tradition of this wine much loved in the region and a true ambassador of the Collio area. It presents a beautiful light yellow color with clear golden reflections. The olfactory profile is intense and rich with scents of wildflowers, aromas of peach, pear, soft nuances of pineapple, and tropical fruit. On the palate, it highlights a ripe fruit, with a broad and harmonious sip, leading to a savory finish with good taste persistence.
