Organic and biodynamic'Ostara' from the Andrea Tirelli winery is a semi-sparkling wine made in the Colli Tortonesi area. The Cortese and Timorasso grapes are left to macerate on the skins for 5 days, alcoholic fermentation takes place using indigenous yeasts and the wine is then re-fermented in the bottle according to the ancestral method. “Ostara” is a semi-sparkling white wine with a sleek and fresh profile crafted by Andrea Tirelli, a young winemaker from the Colli Tortonesi. Since the founding of the winery in 2003, Andrea has embraced environmental sustainability principles, with great attention to the land and nature. The estate, which spans just over 4 hectares in the municipalities of Costa Vescovato and Montale Celli, was inherited from his uncle Domenico with the intent to carry on the ancient family tradition. The area, particularly suited to viticulture due to the influence of the Ligurian Sea winds that gently blow in this small strip of land nestled between the Apennines and the Alps, has proven ideal for producing quality wines. Tirelli's bottles represent the Tortona area in a straightforward and genuine manner.
