Gin 'Onde' Terrae

Gin 'Onde' is configured as an artisanal distillate with a marine and Mediterranean soul, an expression of the wonderful Ligurian Riviera that the Gin Terrae production reality “captures” and brings into the bottle. Known worldwide for the beauty of its landscapes and the locations that dot them, the Ligurian Riviera hosts a multitude of plant species characteristic of the Mediterranean scrub, such as juniper, maritime pine, and thyme, all plants that adapt perfectly to the hot and dry summers, mild winters, and the constant sea breezes that characterize the territory. Giovanni Campari, founder of Gin Terrae, decided to condense the scents of this and other beautiful places in Italy, transmitting them into highly evocative artisanal gins, including Gin 'Onde'.

The production of Gin 'Onde' from the Gin Terrae brand begins with the selection and manual harvesting of some of the most typical botanicals of the Ligurian Riviera, including juniper, thyme, helichrysum, santolina, lemon, maritime pine, seaweed, and angelica, in addition to the water of the sea. The processing is carried out according to the London Dry style, through the distillation of an infusion of alcohol and botanicals in traditional stills or in a steam current, without the use of artificial flavors. In particular, for the distillation process, which takes place in small batches, a 250-liter copper still is used. The gin is finally packaged in a bottle designed by the Gin Terrae team and made of Italian artisanal paper and 100% recycled glass. Furthermore, each bottle is hand-stamped and numbered.

Gin Terrae Gin 'Onde' has a transparent appearance. The nose is very evocative in its perceptions of pine forest, Mediterranean scrub, seaweed, rocks, and citrus, enriched by briny notes. Crisp and savory on the palate, rich in precious marine and Mediterranean sensations.
