History and quality come together in the products that proudly bear the logo of Sibona. This is indeed an ancient distillery, founded in the 1930s in the Roero region of Piemonte, and prestigious, as evidenced by the license No.1 issued by the U.T.F., the financial body responsible for overseeing the activities and processes of distilleries. A significant reality, as demonstrated by this Grappa di Barolo Millesimata. A label that satisfies the palate with a velvety, silky, and warm sip, where the aromas have every intention of making it hard to part from the glass. Ideal for accompanying future winter evenings.
The Sibona distillery produces this Millesimata Grappa starting from a strict selection of fresh pomace from Nebbiolo grapes intended for Barolo production, belonging to the vintage. The distillation process occurs through traditional procedures, using copper stills, and three enologists carefully monitor every phase of the processing. After the heads and tails are removed, the resulting distillate is allowed to rest for 24 monthsin wood, more precisely both in barriques and in large casks.
The Grappa di Barolo Sibona Millesimata takes on an amber color in the glass, with a warm and intense hue. Complex and layered on the nose, it presents a range of aromas that evoke emotions, moving from spices to candied fruit, also touching on woody nuances. On the palate, it has a soft structure, delicate, with a broad sip that fills the mouth and finishes with a long-lasting finish. A limited edition produced in small quantities, where each bottle is numbered and placed in an elegant wooden box: the perfect gift for all those friends who go crazy for spirits!
