Grappa 'Gentile' Segnana

The Grappa “Gentile” is a distillate that could not have a different name. The ultimate goal of the Segnana distillery with this label is indeed to create a linear and “polite” product, capable of being appreciated for the softness of its aromas and flavors, which manage to engage gently during tasting even without having a particular strength or intensity. A label with a refreshing sip and smooth drinkability, that makes a great gift for all those friends who are passionate about distillates and Grappe. 

This Grappa “Gentile” is made by the Segnana distillery starting from the freshest pomace of both white and red grapes. The pomace is carefully selected and arrives fresh at the facilities where distillation takes place. The entire production process, followed in minute detail, employs a steam bath distillation, a process that manages to exemplarily transfer the intensity of the aromas and notes olfactory that can be found in each of the grapes chosen for this product. At the end of the processing, the Grappa is briefly aged in steel, to acquire a greater degree of softness before the final bottling.

The Grappa “Gentile” Segnana appears completely colorless and crystalline, with a particular transparency. A subtle range of notes moves to the nose, where flowers and fruit alternate with hints that recall the freshness of freshly picked almonds. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a fresh sip with a dry taste, particularly enveloping. A grappa that is always well accepted at the end of every meal, to enliven post-dinner conversations!
