Organic and biodynamicThe Grillo "4 Filari" is an expressive, fresh, and pleasant Sicilian white wine, vinified and aged on the lees in steel. It presents a typical bouquet of orange blossom and aromatic herbs, with exotic and tropical hints, and has a refreshing, savory, and well-balanced taste.
The Grillo "4 Filari" is a Sicilian white wine that strongly represents the grape variety used, which, among the rows owned by the Case Alte winery, is free to express itself to the fullest of its potential, given the organic management of the vineyards. This Grillo indeed presents the typical floral and aromatic herb bouquet that distinguishes it, combining with these aromas a refreshing sip, in which freshness and minerality present themselves with the right intensity. A very versatile label in the kitchen, also to be considered for its versatility at the table.
This "4 Filari" is a Grillo that comes from the homonymous indigenous grapes, used in purity by the Case Alte winery. The vines of this variety grow on a hilly terrain located about 500 meters above sea level, of sandy origin, where the vines are worked according to practices that refer to organic agriculture. The grapes, once harvested and brought to the facilities designated for winemaking, are pressed with the whole bunch, to then decant statically for 24 hours and ferment alcoholically in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 15 degrees. Always in steel the aging takes place, which lasts for 6 months, during which the wine remains in contact with its own yeasts.
The wine "4 Filari" is a Grillo that, upon visual examination, announces itself with a bright straw yellow color, crossed by some reflections that tend more towards greenish. The nose is rich in fruity aromas, which also alternate floral sensations and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is light-bodied, enveloping, with a fresh and savory sip, which offers a smooth and satisfying drink. A bottle with which the Case Alte winery carries on a commitment to the production of Sicilian wines passed down from generation to generation.
