‘Il Torrione’ by Agricola La Torre is a blend of Marzemino and Groppello di Mocasina from morainic soils in Calvagese della Riviera, aged for two years between cement and second-pass barriques. A wine of strong character and good complexity, where the freshness of Groppello merges with the tannic structure of Marzemino, for a balanced and persistent profile. On the nose, fruity notes of blackberry and plum, with spicy hints and toasted notes of vanilla. On the palate, it is warm, soft, and with integrated tannins, with long persistence. Perfect with a rosemary beef tagliata
