Marsannay Rouge by Latour is an elegant, round and medium-bodied wine from Pinot Noir from the Marsannay area, in the Cote de Nuits. The bouquet is rich in wild berries and black pepper, with notes of cherry and black pepper. The taste is armonic, balanced and intriguing

The Marsannay Rouge is one of the many and varied expressions with which Louis Latour delights in presenting Pinot Noir, the absolute protagonist grape of the Burgundian terroir. In particular, with this label, the winery presents us with a full-bodied red, where palate and nose are perfectly aligned on fruity notes, the backbone of the entire tasting experience. A bottle where quality and reliability are guaranteed, and that is no small feat! An opportunity not to be missed, especially for those who love French wines.

This Marsannay Rouge comes to life from pure grapes of a great international red grape variety, Pinot Noir. The Louis Latour winery cultivates this variety in different parcels included within the AOC of Marsannay. The vines, whose average age is around 30 years, grow by sinking their roots into soils mainly composed of limestone and clay. The clusters, once harvested and brought into the winemaking facilities, ferment in oak barrels, and then proceed to age in tankssteel for 10-12 months, at the end of which the bottling operations take place.

The Marsannay Rouge wine signed by the Louis Latour winery is characterized by a bright color, reminiscent of ruby. The olfactory spectrum mainly plays on fruity notes, enriched by slight touches that recall the world of spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, pleasant, with a sip in perfect balance, marked by an engaging tannin. A red where nothing is out of place, which, moreover, is also characterized by great gastronomic versatility. If you bring it with you to those lunches or dinners where you are invited, you will surely make a good impression.
