The Montefalco Rosso Reserve "Pipparello" by Paolo Bea is a wine made from grapes from vineyards located at 400 meters altitude and characterized by a remarkable verticality. Austere and complex in fruity and spicy aromas. Opulent, climbing, and intense, it envelops with its fine tannin structure.

The Montefalco Rosso Riserva "Pipparello" by Paolo Bea is the emblem of love for the land. It tells of a territory, that of Umbria, with a unique complexity and depth, but above all it manifests the harmony of nature. It is indeed the protagonist of the work, both in the vineyard and in the winery. "Nature must be observed, listened to, understood, not dominated," as Giampiero Bea states. This approach to the vineyard and its fruits translates into honest and true wines, just as can be inferred from the name of the Consorzio ViniVeri, which counts Paolo Bea among its founders. This group unites the member wineries for philosophy and production method, aimed at enhancing the natural balance existing in the ecosystem.

“Pipparello” is a Montefalco Rosso Riserva made up of 60% Sangiovese grapes, 25% Montepulciano grapes, and 15% Sagrantino grapes, coming from the eponymous vineyard. The soil is predominantly clayey, alternating with layers of gravel, and the vineyard is located at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level.on the hills of Montefalco. After the manual harvest, the grapes are pressed and the stems are separated from the skins. Inside stainless steel containers, alcoholic fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, as well as the first 12 months of maturation. The aging phase then requires a further period of 24 months in oak barrels of 25 HL and 12 months in bottle.

The Montefalco Rosso Riserva "Pipparello" by Paolo Bea presents an intense and deep ruby red color. It has a beautiful complexity on the nose that unfolds on red and forest fruits, on spicy notes of juniper and vanilla, and on leather tones. All of this is refined by a brilliant sapidity, traceable on the nose as well as on the palate. On the palate, sapidity and freshness combine to define a verticality softened by fine tannins and a smooth body. Austerity and intensity coexist in this Umbrian wine of great territoriality.
