The Sorsi e Parole d’Autore – ‘Stories of Women’ box was created by the Callmewine team to pay tribute to women around the world, who with their tenacious spirit make our planet unique. In this box, there is the novel ‘Little Women’ by the writer Louisa May Alcott and a bottle of Etna Rosato Sciàre dell’Alba. Regarding the book ‘Little Women’, it is the most famous novel by Louisa May Alcott, published in the United States between 1868 and 1869. The story, presented in two novels, tells of the adventures of the sisters Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March, particularly their inner evolution that will lead them to become responsible and mature women. As for the winery Sciàre dell’Alba, this reality is located on the eastern slope of Etna, where with passion and expertise, the Lombard producer Elisabetta Abrami collaborates with the Urzì family to unveil the complex facets of this piece of volcanic land.
The ‘Stories of Women’ box – Sorsi e Parole d’Autore contains a bottle of Etna Rosato Sciàre dell’Alba, the novel ‘Little Women’ by Louisa May Alcott published by the publishing house Bompiani, a black corkscrew signed by Callmewine, a bookmark with a quote from the book, an explanatory card that describes the contents of the box, and an elegantly designed wooden box. The Etna Rosato from the Sciàre dell’Alba winery is made from a blend of Nerello Mascalese (80%) and Nerello Cappuccio (20%), varieties grown on the eastern slope of the volcano at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The entire processing takes place in stainless steel tanks, in order to enhance the freshness and the characteristic mineral vein of the wine.
