Full-bodied, expressive and mineral, this orange wine is produced by Radikon from Pinot Grigio, called Sivi in Slovenian, with skin maceration and aging for 18 months in large barrels. The aromas recall those of a red wine: red fruit and spices. The sip is intense, rich and very long, endowed with very savory aromatic trails and a fine tannic texture.

The Bianco "Sivi" is a complex and multifaceted orange wine made from the Pinot Grigio grape, made unique by the interpretation of the Radikon family. First Stanko, a true pioneer of the Collio wine region alongside Josko Gravner, now Sasa, a talented son with clear ideas: this is the story of Radikon, a legendary winery for all lovers of artisanal wine. The passing of Stanko, while leaving an immense void, has seen Sasa take over, who, while giving a different interpretation to the wines compared to that of his father, continues steadfast in the production of wines free from the use of any chemical substances both in the vineyard and in the winery, and from the use of sulfur in the winery. Unique bottles, different from one another and thus so exciting.

The "Sivi" Pinot Grigio wine comes from pure grapes of the same name grown around the municipality of Oslavia. The vines, which are about 30 years old, rest on soils rich in Ponka, a particular clay constantly present in the soils of Collio. After manual harvesting and destemming, the grapes are placed in conical oak vats where part of the spontaneous fermentation takes place in contact with the skins, lasting about 8-14 days. After racking, the aging takes place in large oak barrels and lasts about 18 months, followed by an additional rest of two months in the bottle. It undergoes neither clarification nor filtration, and no sulfur is added at any stage of the winemaking.

The Radikon Pinot Grigio presents itself in the glass with an intense and captivating orange-rosé color. Already from the first olfactory impression, it outlines its complexity and its being out of the ordinary, unfolding in succession bitter orange peel, oriental spices, ripe peach, and penetrating ethereal nuances. Full sip, both in terms of taste and substance, but always balanced between richness and rhythm, marked by a well-integrated tannin and a balsamic freshness. A surprising and histrionic nectar, fading into a very long persistence, leaving a legacy.
