Riesling Sparkling Alkoholfrei 'Deserteur' Bibo Runge

Bibo Runge's Riesling Sparkling 'Deserteur' is a non-alcoholic sparkling wine from the prestigious Rheingau region. This wine combines the elegance of Riesling with the liveliness of bubbles, all without alcohol. The nose releases fresh aromas of green apple, pear and white flowers. The fine, persistent bubbles tickle the palate and the great freshness on the finish cleanses the palate. A delicate and slight residual sweetness makes it extremely drinkable, perfect as an aperitif but also to be tried with delicate fish dishes

RIESLING SPARKLING ALKOHOLFREI 'DESERTEUR' BIBO RUNGE DESCRIPTION

The 'Deserteur' Riesling Sparkling Alkoholfrei is a sophisticated interpretation of Riesling Renano in a non-alcoholic sparkling wine version with a fresh, light-hearted character. In general, a process known as 'dealcolation' is used to obtain non-alcoholic wines, which can be carried out using two methods: cold distillation and osmosis. In the first case, the alcohol component is removed precisely by means of low-temperature distillation, which does not alter the organoleptic properties of the wine. In the second method, the physical process of osmosis is used. This is thanks to a special machine that allows the alcohol to move through a special membrane, which allows the ethyl alcohol to pass through, but not the other substances in the wine. With this in mind, in December 2020 Weingut Bibo Runge launched the 'Deserteur' line on the market, immediately achieving great success.

The production of Alkoholfrei 'Deserteur' Bibo Runge Riesling sparkling wine begins with a Riesling wine base, obtained from the sustainable cultivation of vineyards in the Rheingau region, planted on soils characterised by a high presence of clay and flint. The grapes are harvested by hand and, in the cellar, they are vinified by gentle pressing followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the must. The resulting wine is first de-alcoholised and then made sparkling by adding carbon dioxide.

Riesling "Deserteur" Weingut Bibo Runge Sparkling Alkoholfrei has a straw-yellow colour with green highlights and a persistent effervescence. The nose reveals intense aromas of citrus fruit, honey and vanilla, which are echoed on the palate with a pronounced freshness, accentuated by the liveliness of the bubbles.
