Rosè de Provence of the French winery Miraval is a rosé wine of extreme elegance and refinement. It is produced in Provence, a land known for the excellence of this type of label, through a blend of four grape varieties: Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Syrah. After a brief refinement in wood, it has an antique pink colour with orange reflections. The nose reveals floral and red berry fruit aromas, notes of lemon peel and honey. The taste is fresh, mineral, involving and with a long, savoury finish

The Rosé de Provence Miraval is a label that perfectly expresses the joy of living, always linked to the mild and welcoming climate of southern France and the Mediterranean Sea. The estate is located near the village of Correns, halfway between Fréjus and Aix-en-Provence. The fame of its great wines is also associated with glamorous aspects. Since 2008, the domaine has been owned by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who have drawn on the advice and experience of the Perrin family, a historic producer of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the lower Rhône area, to offer the market a range of rosés of great finesse and elegance.

The wine Rosé de Provence Miraval is a cuvée made from the grapes of the best vineyards of the Château Miraval estate, located in the most suitable exposures of a magnificent valley. The vineyards are cultivated on clay-limestone soils, partially terraced, at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level. The climate, characterized by strong thermal excursions between warm days and cool nights, allows for the maturation of grapes rich in aromas and endowed with excellent freshness.base, essential for creating great rosés. The harvest takes place in the early hours of the morning with the selection of clusters in the vineyard and further selection of grapes in the winery, before proceeding to vinification. The white grape variety Rolle and the red grape varieties Cinsault and Grenache are gently pressed, while the Syrah is vinified by bleeding. The fermentation occurs for 95% of the mass in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and for 5% in oak barrels with bâtonnage. Before bottling, the wine rests for a few months in wooden barrels.

The Rosé de Provence Miraval expresses all the finesse of a label designed to offer the pleasure of a fresh, sunny, and marine sip. Its character of extreme refinement makes it ideal for tasting at aperitif time or to accompany seafood appetizers, particularly those based on scampi and shrimp. It presents itself with a very pale pink color, typical of Provence rosés. The bouquet is refined and subtle, with fragrant aromas of citrus, lime zest, notes of red currant, raspberry, and wild herbs from the Mediterranean scrub, floral nuances of rose petals, iris, and hints of iodine. The sip is clear, tense, and saline, with elegant and harmonious fruit, leading to a finish of good persistence, characterized by a vibrant mineral freshness.
