Just like the one of uniting Merlot and Pinot Noir dressed in pink, in a bottle with an appealing nose, a prelude to a fresh and briny sip, which thus calls for exquisite pairings with oysters, bottarga, and sea urchins. This Livio Felluga Rosé is a wine that arises from the union of two international varieties, Pinot Noir and Merlot, cultivated in a terroir rich in marls and Eocene sandstones. Among the rows, the fight against pests follows integrated agriculture methods, with low environmental impact. The grapes are hand-picked into crates during the harvest phase, thus avoiding the slightest crushing. After soft pressing, the must is clarified through decantation, and then fermented both in stainless steel containers at a temperature.controlled, and for a small part, in terracotta containers. The wine then continues to mature in steel and terracotta for a few months, before being bottled.

The Rosé Livio Felluga presents itself visually with a light pink color, endowed with a particular brightness and hue. The bouquet that develops on the nose is pleasant from the very first moments, narrating an intertwining of floral and fruity notes, while at the end of the olfactory analysis, light spicy references also emerge. On the palate, it is slender and drinkable, with a fresh and savory sip, played on a very interesting overall harmony. A label that aims to showcase the Friulian terroir and its character with a new and original guise, the result of the innovative spirit that has always characterized Felluga's work.
