Rosso Riserva 'Vineargenti' Bosco del Merlo 2020
Callmewine's FavouritesThe Vineargenti from Bosco del Merlo is an intense red wine of aristocratic elegance, made from Merlot and Refosco grapes and aged for 15 months in barriques, 6 months in large barrels, and at least 12 months in bottle. It presents an extraordinarily fine and articulated aromatic profile, with jammy fruit, balsamic herbs, roots, sweet spices, and dried flowers. On the palate, it is soft, structured, graceful, fresh, and has noble tannins.
This Rosso Riserva “Vineargenti” presents itself with a beautiful ruby red color, crossed by slight garnet veins. The aromas that develop on the nose are subtle and layered, with fruity and floral notes that gradually lead to balsamic and Mediterranean aromas. On the palate, it is smooth-bodied, well-structured, with a sip of pleasant freshness in which the tannic component is perfectly integrated. A bottle that comes from the hills of the DOC Lison Pramaggiore, an area strongly suited to the production of high-quality reds.
