It is a rum characterized by a particularly soft, fragrant, and fruity profile, which very well expresses the great tradition of the French Antilles. The volcanic soils of the island of Martinique and a pure juice extracted from sugar cane of excellent quality constitute the basic ingredients of a great distillate. It is a bottle of great charm, which, thanks to a long aging in fine woods, acquires a note of seductive complexity that makes it particularly amiable. Excellent to taste neat, it can also be used to prepare classic Caribbean cocktails.
The Jardin Fruité is a Rum Agricole produced by one of the historic names of Martinique. The distillery J.M was founded by Jean-Marie Martin in the northern area of the island, near the first elevations that rise towards Mount Pelée. The mineral-rich lands, of ancient volcanic origin, have proven perfect for to cultivate a cane of excellent quality. The cutting of the cane, the extraction and processing of the juice, take place quickly, to preserve intact all the fragrance of the aromas. Distillation takes place with traditional stills, under the watchful eye of a long-experienced Master Distiller. Before bottling, the rum matures for 24 months in French oak barrels and in toasted American oak barrels, which help enrich the aromatic profile with pleasant tertiary notes.
