The "Masskara" is a Rum that originates from a distillery created in 2011 to give voice to a particularly suited territory. Don Papa is located in the Philippines, a land where sugarcane has always been cultivated, so much so that the island of Negros is considered a true sugarland. The warm climate and the rich and fertile volcanic soils allow for the cultivation of sugarcane capable of give a dense and very sweet molasses. The fermentation phase is followed by distillation, carried out in traditional copper stills. The distillate is enriched with the infusion of the Filipino citrus Calamansi, which enhances its aromas with fresh citrus notes. Before being bottled, the Rum matures for three years in carefully selected noble woods.
