Domaine Chevrot's Santenay 1er Cru 'Clos Rousseau' comes from one of the 'most beautiful terroirs in the domaine', according to the producers themselves. Structured but flowing, it stands out for its herbaceous profile: red and white flowers, slight hints of saffron meet subtle spices and a toasty finish. The attack in the mouth is all softness, with persistent fragrance and a distinct saline finish. Ideal with red meats and mature cheeses
