The Vecchie Vigne of Tenuta Sant'Antonio is a Soave that is aged for 6 months in French tonneaux, giving us an intense bouquet that ranges from floral notes to hints of flint and hydrocarbons. The sip is supported by a nice savoriness and freshness, with a good body and a balance that makes it really enjoyable.

The Soave “Vecchie Vigne” from Tenuta Sant’Antonio is a white traditionally from Veneto, representing the selection within quality. It comes from a cru, a small vineyard on Monte Ceriani that is over thirty years old. It is therefore a true story of the Soave area told by the Sant’Antonio winery owned by the Castagnedi brothers. Guided by a sincere and strong passion for wine, born among the paternal vineyards, they are increasingly directing their work towards a method that is as close to nature as possible, respecting and enhancing the environment. They use cover crops, vegetable compost, natural solutions to plant diseases, and select yeasts from their own grapes.

“Vecchie Vigne” is the Soave produced by the Tenuta Sant’Antonio winery, obtained from pure Garganega grapes. The harvest is carried out strictly by hand. After harvesting, the grapes undergo cold maceration. The fermentationis carried out in stainless steel containers at low temperatures by selected yeasts from the winery itself and fed with organic nutrients. During winemaking, the fine lees are kept, which are periodically put back in suspension using the batonnage technique. The aging takes place in French oak tonneaux, where the wine remains for about six months. The cleaning of the fine lees is done only a few days before bottling, to maximize the wine's personality.

The Tenuta Sant’Antonio Soave “Vecchie Vigne” has a straw yellow color with some golden reflections. Peaches and apricots in jam, dried fruit, and a mineral trail of flint define its aroma. The sip is soft and velvety. This Soave evolves in the glass and reveals its identity with each taste.
