Broglia Brut is a fresh, subtle and elegant Traditional Method Sparkling Wine produced from Cortese di Gavi grapes with an aging on the lees for 18 months. It smells like white fruits, citrus zests and aromatic herbs. The taste is taut, fresh, savory and well-balanced

The Spumante Metodo Classico Brut by Broglia is a subtle and elegant Blanc de Blancs, with a floral and delicately fruity profile. It is produced with the Cortese grape in purity, a true flag of the wonderful hilly territory of Gavi. Thanks to its characteristics of extreme versatility, Cortese allows for the creation of not only excellent still wines but also interesting sparkling wines with a pleasantly refined face. It is a fresh and simple Metodo Classico, appreciated especially as an aperitif or paired with seafood appetizers.

The Metodo Classico Brut produced by Broglia is the result of the great sparkling wine tradition of Piemonte, which dates back to the mid-nineteenth century and the great vocation of the Gavi territory. The Broglia family has been dedicated to viticulture for three generations and today manages a splendid estate of about one hundred hectares in the hilly area surrounding the town of Gavi. The vineyards were replanted in the 1950s and enjoy a cool and ventilated climate, influenced by the beneficial breezes from the Ligurian Sea. The Soils of predominantly limestone matrix, with the presence of clays, have proven perfect for white grape varieties that express themselves with particular elegance and aromatic finesse. Thanks to these pedoclimatic characteristics and a slightly early harvest to preserve the right freshness, Broglia manages to produce one of the most interesting Metodo Classico labels with indigenous grapes.

The Brut by Broglia is a Metodo Classico obtained from grapes grown at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level, with a sunny southwest exposure. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks and the second fermentation in the bottle with a resting period on the lees of 18 months. In the glass, it has a bright straw-yellow color, with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet offers hints of white flowers, citrus aromas, white-fleshed fruit, notes of bread crust, and memories of wild herbs. The sip is lively and smooth, with delicate fruit and a savory and fresh finish.
