Slavcek's sparkling wine Metodo Classico Rosé Brut Nature 'Viktorija' is an intriguing bubble that speaks of Slovenia. A rosé made from the unusual grape varieties, Refosco and Merlot, in one of the country's prestigious areas, the Vipava Valley. After a short maceration on the skins and 1 year on the lees, the base wine begins a brief re-fermentation in the bottle with the addition of the vintage Merlot must.
