Tequila Blanco Don Julio

Tequila Blanco is the flagship product of the Don Julio distillery, the base from which all the other variants that characterize the range are produced. It is a “Luxury Tequila”, a classy product known and appreciated by connoisseurs all over the world. The attention to the raw material, blue agave, is almost obsessive, as is the care with which every phase of the distillation process is followed. A perfect label to be enjoyed neat or “on the rocks”, but which also pairs well – considering the aromatic profile that tends towards citrus – even within a Margarita, to liven up the most refined cocktail parties.

This Tequila Blanco Don Julio is born from a careful and meticulous selection of blue agave, cultivated among the hills of Jalisco, where a particular microclimate and the mineral-rich subsoil allow it to grow, reaching full maturity in a period of 7 years. The “hearts” of each plant are transported to the distillation facilities, where they are cooked in ovens for three days, at the end of which the agave juice is obtained. The juice is then distilled using a slow and traditional process, at the end of which the Tequila is allowed to rest in steel before being bottled and put on the market.

The Tequila Blanco signed by Don Julio tells its story in the glass with a completely transparent and crystalline hue. The different sensations that pass through the nose evoke notes of citrus and exotic fruit – especially lime – which are outlined with a certain clarity and precision. On the palate, one experiences a fresh, elegant, and refined sip, characterized by a typical agave flavor, which ends with a clean and dry finish, from which a slightly spicy aftertaste emerges.  A label that is born from the passion of the legendary Don Julio González, a great enthusiast of distillation and eager to revolutionize the concept of Tequila in the world.
