Tequila Blanco "El Corazon" from the distillery Sangre de Vida is born in the region of Jalisco, located in the western area of the country, near the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is a territory made up of a plateau, with altitudes ranging from 1500 to 2000 meters above sea level, characterized by the presence of ancient volcanic soils, composed of sands and clays, very rich in minerals. The mild and dry climate favors the cultivation of agave, which for centuries has found in Jalisco its ideal land to grow lush. For the production of Tequila, only blue agave plants are used, also known as Weber, in homage to the German botanist who selected it at the end of the nineteenth century. Only plants that have reached full vegetative maturity are used for processing. After cutting all the leaves, the heart of the plant, the famous piña, is harvested, which is cooked in traditional brick ovens. This is followed by the fermentation process and then distillation.
