Trento Spumante Brut Magnum Balter
Sparkling wine Magnum Champenois Method with a rich and complex personality, full of notes of flowers and dried fruit, with a fresh flavour that is very pleasant and long, aged for 36 months on the lees
The Trento Spumante Magnum Brut is a Blanc de Blancs fresh and elegant, which well represents the style of Cantina Balter. The sparkling wine tradition of Trentino has ancient origins, which Balter interprets by adhering to family customs. The estate is located near Rovereto and extends over 10 hectares, cultivated at about 350 meters above sea level, perfectly exposed to the south. In these favorable pedoclimatic conditions, cool and sunny, Chardonnay has found excellent conditions to express itself with great finesse and to provide high-quality sparkling bases.
Magnum Brut Balter is born from Chardonnay vines cultivated partly in Trentino pergola and partly in guyot. Thanks to the mild climate and significant temperature excursions, the grapes ripen slowly and reach the harvest time with rich and intense fruit. The harvest is slightly anticipated and after soft pressing, the must ferments partly in steel and partly in small oak barrels. After a maturation of 8 months, the cuvée is created and the subsequent aging period on the lees is about 36months. A period that gives Chardonnay the right degree of evolution towards mature and aromatically expressive notes.
The Trento Spumante Brut Balter is a very pleasant Metodo Classico Magnum, ideal to drink as an aperitif or to pair with appetizers or delicate fish dishes. To the eye, it presents a bright straw yellow with golden reflections. The perlage is fine and of beautiful persistence. The bouquet opens with floral scents, citrus notes, aromas of white fruit, with hints of bread crust and dried fruit. The sip is refined and creamy, with a beautiful balance between ripe fruit and intense freshness, savory and mineral. A celebratory Magnum format for a great toast!
